Learning the Electronics Hobby

By

There are many sources of information over the internet about the electronic circuits. So many books were written as a guide that teaches the electronics hobby, but practically most of them have so much information that sometimes makes it hard to understand.
In this article we are going to focus on a way that can help you understand the basic things that are important for learning the electronics hobby.
The first important thing is "no basic knowledge". Forget everything that you all ready know about the electronics hobby and try learning it all over again from the beginning.
The second important thing is "keep it simple". Since you are going to learn the electronics hobby, you don't need to know every thing they teach at the university. You just need to understand the basic calculations, rules and behavior of components. This rule will help you learn more on your own in the future, but only after you finish learning the basic with the rule "keep it simple"
the third rule is "stay practical". Again, since it is a hobby, I guess that your wish to build electronic circuits, understand them and design them on your own. You need to learn the theoretical aspect of every electronic component but it is more important to know how to use it practically when you build the circuit.
The fourth rule is "spend some money on your hobby". Do you want to build electronic circuits? It costs money (not much, but it costs). Buy the required tools and components that will help you building your own electronics lab at home.
Now, lets see how to start. Follow theses steps:
1. Get a good book that teaches the electronics as a hobby.
2. Find some websites with nice electronic circuits that are easy to build.
3. Buy tools and electronic components for these circuits.
4. Read about every component that you use and learn how to work with it.
5. Build you circuit and understand how it works.
6. Design your own circuits and build them.
For step 1: you can find several book over the internet (one of them is written by the author of this article with the link below).
For step 2: search for the key words "electronic circuits" and find some circuits that you want to build.
For step 3: look for a list of basic components and tools at the books and buy them.
Good luck.
